- Description
- One of the artists currently working in Australia, conceptualising public space, is the Brazilian media artist Cida de Aragon. Her work deals with urban issues and explores globalising effects and the privatization of public space as an artistic topic (building on the pivotal work done by Castells, 1991; and Sassen, 1998). Over the last 15 years, Cida de Aragon has created a series of temporary interventions dealing with urbanity, along the intersection between art, architecture and media.
